Digitalization, automation and robotization are some of the keywords associated with today’s rapid labor market disruption. We believe that getting ahead in the fast-changing world is all about people – more specifically our ability to adapt and evolve. With market-leading expertise in reskilling, upskilling and learning consulting, Brights creates tailor-made learning solutions to unlock brilliance. Our vision in to change how individuals and organizations learn.
Learning is the magic ingredient that sparks rewarding careers, successful businesses and brighter futures. We help you find that spark.
Why learning? And why rethink it?
- 50% of all jobs will disappear until 2035, and 50% will change.
- Only 1 out of 10 organizations has managed to build an effective learning culture.
- The average half-life of knowledge is five years. Within some industries, it’s as short as 2-3 years.
- The average learner has lost 80% of their newly acquired knowledge 2 days after training.
Rethinking learning since 2015
Our journey started in 2015 as the learning partner to Academic Work.
As a staffing and recruiting company, Academic Work was struggling with the growing skills gap: there were not enough IT and tech talents to meet their clients’ needs. Academic Work Academy was founded, and it soon became known for its 12-week programs that turned career shifters into highly sought-after IT and tech consultants.
As the need for effective learning solutions kept growing, it was time to expand the learning business and start offering learning solutions to every company, not just the sister. With this expansion, we also got ourselves a new name and identity as Brights - with the mission to change the way individuals and organizations learn.
The Academic Work Academy still lives on as part of Academic Work’s service portfolio with Brights as learning partner.
